"We had a great time in the secluded area. Enjoyed the beautiful home hot tub and beautiful mountains. Did a lot of in the area. Loved the waterfalls there. Mingo waterfalls was breathtaking. Went to casinos and done shopping in Cherokee. We will definitely be back there again

"Disappointed on this trip, we've used your company many years:
1. The hot tub was not turned on for our stay Friday night and we could not use it. Too cold.
2. There was a yellow jacket bees nest at the top near the roof and the bees were in the cabin. We had to call for service to spray to deter the bees from coming in the cabin.

"We love the Great Smoky Mountains but prefer a more quiet and less touristy area. This cabin sits in a very secluded area in the NC side of the mountains yet only 20 minutes drive to Bryson City where there are many restaurants you get to choose from. The cabin is super clean just like what other people are saying in their reviews. We will definitely go back there again!

"My husband and I both have very stressful jobs and were looking forward to a relaxing Thanksgiving week. Our stay was perfect! The hot tub was perfect! The bed was so comfortable. The cabin had everything we needed. And it was a plus to be able to bring our doggies! I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the view!

"The cabin was in a quiet area, not far from town, and offered beautiful views. The house was nice enough. But our biggest issue was the rental company. We thought we could get away from everyone for a few days, but other than the first day we were there, we had something happen. One day the cleaning lady inadvertently came early, then the trash guy, then the rental place was calling us asking when we planned to leave. It was almost as if they had a booking right after our stay and needed to quadruple check we would leave on time. It was annoying and made us uncomfortable. The house was fine, but the experience from everything will probably keep us from renting from them again.

Awesome cabin

"Very clean and pretty modern cabin. Everything you need is there. Large bathroom and large laundry room is a plus. No wifi. We had to use hotspot to watch the TV. Hot tub is a little small but still nice. Beautiful view! Go on deck at night to see stars. The location is perfect, being close to town and highway. Also a pretty drive up driveway. We are a repeat customer of yellow rose and plan to be back!

Black bear encounter

"Wonderful cabin, kitchen basics a bit lacking. Otherwise, perfect stay. I encountered a black bear who wandered out of the woods while I was on the porch Taking in the view. I scared him as much as he scared me. It was so cool and scary. Beds were comfortable. Very clean. Hot tub would not heat and would prefer a larger size. Couches were new and very comfortable.

"We had a great time. We had an issue with a wood board that was rotten and I found out the hard way. Sitting in a high chair at the high table on the deck. Chair leg went through the wood and threw me to the deck. Yeah it hurt and I had scraps and bruses the next day. The pull out couch in the loft was very uncomfortable the boys said. It would be nice to have dark curtains in the master. There is a security lighting the back she's and it would keep going off all night. The rental was amazing otherwise. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet away from it all. Thankfully it was pet friendly. The trash issu is another thing that would maybe make us not return. Why is there a trash can if you have two take the trash to the dump yourself? So, we have to take smelly trash, if you cook while there in the car to the trash place. Just nasty if you ask me

Nice private cabin

"The cabin was very nice and had a lot of great qualities. Nice location. Quiet and peaceful. Great view of the mountains. Master bed was comfortable. Many exterior lights for secure at night. But here are few items that need attention. Two large windows in living room need to be cleaned inside and out. I had to clean the coffee pot, horrible condition. Master bathroom shower floor was very slippery when wet. Could not use it. Sofa needs to be replaced. Not very firm. If your bringing a motorcycle, the last part of the driveway is NOT paved to the cabin, its gravel and weeds at an angle.

"The property was great. The property description was accurate and the property was very clean. The view was really nice and all amenities were great. The hot tub was clean and had a great view. The kitchen was really well stocked with everything you could need. The rental company was easy to deal with and very pleasant when I spoke to them. I would definitely recommend this property and Yellow Rose Realty. We are looking forward to another trip to the area, and will research some of their other properties.

"Beautiful property only problem is the hot tub as it just seats two people. The pictures on the website makes it look very big. That was the only disappointment other than that everything was excellent.

"The cabin was in great condition, and had everything that they said they would. We appreciated the location and seclusion. The only complaint would be that their instructions for maintaining the property are pretty strict and thorough, but I'm not sure that the cleaning staff holds themselves to the same standards.

"Very relaxing, fun trip with family. Hiking was awesome. Great weather and location. We love this property because of location, great view of the mountains from the deck. Downtown Bryson City is a quaint little town.
BUT, the only thing I would like to suggest is to update the couches. They are very old and you fall in to them when you sit down.

"I went up to North Carolina with my family and we enjoyed every second of the stay. The location we stayed at was clean and had an amazing view. Everyone was super friendly not much we can really complain about. The only thing was that everything was closed because of the epidemic were current having but that didn’t stop us from having fun. I would stay again if the given the chance in the future.

"We absolutely loved our stay at the Bird's Nest. It was perfect for our family. We felt as if we had escaped earth and experienced a piece of heaven. Everything we needed was in the cabin. It was very clean!!! The staff at Yellow Rose was very professional and helpful. I love that this place is pet friendly as our fur family is very much our kids too! "Our 5 day vacation here was absolutely amazing. We loved the cabin so much. It was very private which for us we enjoyed. It had everything we needed. The only thing that I could see being a problem is that you could not enjoy the hot tub if it was raining. However it was humid, warm and sunny all through our stay so our vacation was magnificent.
