There are numerous hiking trails and waterfalls to enjoy in Western North Carolina.

Indian Creek Falls
From the Deep Creek Trail Head Parking Area, it is an easy walk to Indian Creek Falls. The trail is an old roadbed so it is wide and smooth. It follows Deep Creek, crossing the creek on wide, stable bridges and offering lovely views of the water.

Tom Branch Falls
Tom Branch Falls is only .3 miles from the start of the Deep Creek Trail. The trail is an old roadbed and is very wide and smooth. There are benches along the trail at the waterfall making for easy viewing and relaxing.
